This virtual reality app requires the use of an HTC Vive or Oculus Rift, a mounted Leap Motion Controller (using the VR Developer Mount or unofficial alternative), and the Leap Motion Orion software. It has not been tested on the latest V4 beta.
Unlock new possibilities in your Orion project with Add-on Modules – powerful extensions built on top of our beta release of the Unity Core Assets for Orion. Learn more in our post Unity Core Assets 101: How to Start Building Your VR Project.
Pinch Move
Pinch Move was formerly part of the Pinch Utilities, a (now retired) module for our Unity Core Assets that gives you access to the power of pinch. The scripts for Pinch Move can now be found in the Unity Core Assets pack.
With Pinch Move, you can twist, transform, and explore the inside of a Menger sponge. Pinching with one hand instantly locks the cube’s motions to your hand, so that you can easily move it around. Use two hands to rotate the shape and change its size. Shrink it to the size of a building block, or stretch it into infinity. The demo includes options for single-axis or full object rotation.
